The project covers 1359 acres of Dubai Creek area, where the mall occupies around 8,826 sq. ft, with more than 710,000 sq. ft designated to public and retail spaces, and 78.6M sq. ft of residential areas.

The development has been delivered in several phases and now contains several independent, though connected into one ecosystem, communities. The first established residential clusters include the Island District, Creek Beach and Dubai Square, followed by the Sanctuary District, Retail District, Urban Core District and Dubai Festival City.
